The Files component gallery
Every interactive component, live, with the markup to copy. Nothing a reader answers here leaves the page.
1 · Guess First
Drop it in front of any surprising number the article already states. Script off, the number is still in the prose below.
2 · What Would You Rule
Only on Files. It collapses the verdict box for a first-time reader, asks for a ruling, then reveals. There is always a one-tap way to skip to the answer.
3 · Myth busting
Reads the numbered statements already written in the article. On a myth-busting piece every statement is false, so the reader says whether they believed it rather than guessing true or false. Set "mixed": true for a deck that really does contain both.
1. "Acne means your skin is dirty"
Why it's wrong: the plug forms inside the follicle, out of your own skin cells and your own oil. Nothing external gets in.
2. "Wash more often and it will clear"
Why it's wrong: washing removes surface oil, not the plug inside the pore, and stripping the barrier makes the inflammation worse.
4 · The Label Decoder
Marks the first five, the 1% line, and anything flagged. Hand-picked examples, or a list the reader pastes. Nothing is uploaded.
5 · The Cost Calculator
Prices come from Shopify at read time, never hardcoded. The total goes down, which is the honest direction for this one.
6 · The Selector
Pick a value, the panels swap. The panels are real markup, so with the script off they are simply all visible and read as a normal list.
Dry
Not making as much oil as it needs. A barrier problem rather than a water problem.
Oily
More oil than the surface needs, most of the time. Stripping it makes it worse.
Combination
The most common answer, and why one product rarely suits the whole face.
7 · The Quiz
N questions, one outcome. The outcome is a description and a next step, never a grade and never a score.
