What it does
Feel & finish, Emollient & barrier
Our take
The most reliably pore-clogging group on the whole comedogenic list, and unlike the plant butters there's no real argument for them. They exist to improve texture. If you break out and can't work out from what, look for these.
Suitable from
Middle aged, 40+
Can it clog pores
High. We flag it for anyone whose skin congests easily. This flag is for the face only, it does not apply to body, hair or home care.
Instead try
Squalane, caprylic/capric triglyceride or jojoba esters give similar slip without the flag.
