Lactic Acid

A larger AHA than glycolic, so it works more slowly and gently, and it's also a humectant.

The AHA we'd point a teenager at first if they want one. It exfoliates and hydrates at the same time, which makes it much harder to overdo than glycolic. Same sun-sensitivity rule applies.
