Oregano oil. A strongly antibacterial essential oil, and a potent irritant undiluted.

What it does: Preservation, Scent
Our take: One of the most antibacterial essential oils there is, and one of the most caustic. Undiluted oregano oil will burn skin. In a properly dilute formula it is fine; the failure mode here is entirely dose.
What we look for: Under 1%, and never neat
